Terms of use

These terms cover your use of CrownMyGame (“we”, “the site”), a toplist where players vote for browser games and game owners list their games. By using the site you agree to them.

Accounts

You can vote without an account. If you create one, keep your password private and give us a real email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person may hold one account; owners may list any number of games from it.

Listing a game

You may only list games you own or are authorised to promote. Every listing, and every later change to its name, URL or banner, is reviewed before it appears. We may decline, edit the category of, take offline or remove a listing that breaks these terms or the voting policy, links to something unsafe or misleading, or stops working.

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to show it on the site and in material that promotes the site, such as the monthly winners announcement.

Votes and rankings

Rankings follow the published rules in How the ranking works and the voting policy. We may remove votes we believe are not genuine, and we publish removals on the affected game's page. Trophies and prizes go to the games the rules say won them; if a result is affected by fraud, we may withdraw them.

Things you must not do

Do not buy, sell, automate or fake votes; do not reward players for clicking ads; do not try to break, overload or scrape the site beyond its published API; and do not use the site to harass anyone or to share anything unlawful.

The service

We work to keep the site and vote rewards running, but we provide them as they are, without a guarantee that they will always be available or error-free. We are not responsible for the games listed here, which are run by their owners. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending things

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and, for owners, by email.
